Hudson Horror Show Inc., in association with Grindhouse Releasing, proudly presents a horror film festival of gargantuan proportions! Be in Poughkeepsie NY on May 22nd, 2010 for a screening of some of the greatest horror movies of all time!
The screening commemorates Grindhouse Releasing’s new theatrical re-release of Sam Raimi’s all time classic The Evil Dead, and celebrates the 30th anniversary of Lucio Fulci’s living dead masterpiece, Zombie. In addition, we will also be screening the sleazy 80’s Euro slasher Pieces! This trio of terror will be presented the way these movies were meant to be watched, projected on the big screen from rare 35mm film prints!
Hudson Horror Show is now proud to reveal their secret fourth feature length movie, Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated! Animators and artists have created a variety of stunning new visuals to accompany the existing audio track of the original 1968 masterpiece. This is a bold new take on a horror classic!
In addition, Hudson Horror Show will showcase some of the best up and coming horror and exploitation movie shorts from today’s top independent film makers. We are opening the show with some short films that feature some of the the greatest shocks, laughs, gore and sheer entertainment that can be packed into an 8 minute running time. Come see the skills of the new generation of horror film makers!
Also making its debut will be an extended preview of Toxik – Think Again, the first ever DVD of legendary cult metal masters Toxik. Toxik was arguably the most successful heavy metal band from the New York Hudson Valley to emerge on the 80’s thrash scene, playing concerts worldwide with the likes of King Diamond, Pantera, Sepultura, Exodus and others before disbanding. Think Again is their story. Toxik drummer Tad Leger will be in attendance to introduce the preview.
The festival kicks off at approximately 1PM and runs until at least 11PM on May 22nd, 2010. The screening will be held at Silver Cinemas South Hills 8. The theater is located at 1895 South Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Due to the nature of this presentation, NO ONE UNDER 17 WILL BE ADMITTED WITHOUT A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
Advance Tickets are on sale now and are $26.00. Be sure to enter in code # 666 on the PayPal page under “Enter in gift certificate, reward or discount.” You will then receive a free gift at the show with your ticket order!
Less than 50 tickets remain, so we recommend buying your tickets in advance. Advance tickets will not be mailed out, they will be held at the door. Pay one price and come and go during the show as much as you want. For tickets or more information, go to www.hudsonhorror.com.

Does NY come up with the names of their towns using a random word generator?
