As initially announced, An American Werewolf director John Landis will only be signing on Saturday of the HorrorHound Weekend convention. With under a week away from his appearance, we now have final signing information for this event.

John Landis will be signing, beginning at 12:00pm (noon) on Saturday the 17th. Mr. Landis will only be signing for a limited time - and because of this, HorrorHound staff members will begin a line, starting at 10:00am to give special signing tickets to attendies on a first come-first serve basis. Tickets will be limited. Anyone who obtains said ticket will be granted access to John Landis' signing room beginning at 12:00 (noon). This measure is to ensure that nobody is waiting in line without the knowledge that they will, in fact, have a chance to obtain autographs. Once tickets are all taken - John MAY sign for non-ticket-holders, based on the time.

ATTENTION: If you are given an autograph ticket - you are limited to just TWO items to be autographed. John Landis will not have items to sign - so bring your own. John is signing FOR FREE - but asks anyone attending the event to consider donating to his charity organization of choice - Planned Parenthood L.A.. To ensure as many fans can meet Landis as possible - we ask that lines move brisk - items are ready to be signed upon entrance of the sigining room - pictures are allowed but must be taken by a HorrorHound Weekend staff member (have your cameras ready).

Landis will be appearing at 4:00pm that Saturday for a special Beware the Moon screening and Q&A session - so be sure to have questions ready for Landis then. We apologize for making this announcement so late in the game. Thank you to everyone - and here's to a killer HorrorHound Weekend event!

Do you guys know how many tickets for the signing there will be? And are they numbered - as in first person to get a ticket gets in line first?

Tickets will have numbers on them but only for our counting purposes... The numbers on the ticket will in no way reserve you a designated location in the line. Your location inline will be determined when you enter the line.

We're working hard to determine the exact number of tickets to hand out to ensure everyone who receives a ticket will have a chance to obtain autographs during the designated times. The number of tickets is still being determined but an the current estimate is 200-400 (hundred) tickets.

We don't want people standing in line for hours and ending up not getting an autograph; so if you receive a ticket you can be reasonably certain you'll have the ability to get an autograph.

Since doors open @ 11:00 am on Sat. for general admission ticket holders, does this mean that early admission ticket holders will be given first dibs on the Landis tickets @ 10:00 am?

Tickets will be dispursed outside of the convention floor - at a well marked pre-designated area (flyers will be posted on Friday). Early Admission ticket holders will not be given a early shot at obtaining tickets for the signing. Tickets will be given in a swift manner by staff members to help assure any early-admission ticket holders who intend on obtaining a signing-ticket are shuffled into the main floor conveniently without problem and before the doors open to regular pass holders.
