Yesterday (friday the 2nd) I went to my usual go-to spot for my HH fix and it wasn't there on the stands. :( The guy working the stands was cool as shit and explained that subscribers come first, then distributors and then it hits the stands. So I probably won't be seeing it untill sometime next week. It's still very early in the month and I  realize it was a shot in the dark but I was still greatly disappointed. I guess all I need is a little...

I hear that. I've been at the bookstore the past 3 days looking for this issue. Looks like I'll just wait till mid week until I check again.

I called Barnes & Noble last night.  They didn't have but it could very well be in the backroom where it usually is when I come looking for it.  I'll go there Monday or Tuesday.

Was at Borders yesterday and they still had #23 on the shelf.  I might add that it was on the LAST SHELF, like row 6 and it was partially covered up by some newspaper.  Rue Morgue and Fangoria were up front.  What gives Borders?

My Barnes & Noble does the same thing which is why I put it in front whenever I go there.

Still nothing. I've mentioned this before but I buy my HH at a nearby local newsstand/Porn shop and still nothing, this makes my second attempt. Both times on the way there, I'm all kinds of happy and hopefull. I can see myself walking in and seeing it on the shelf. Both times I've left all kinds of disappointed and let down. Will tomorrow make three?

Yeah I know what you mean. I went to the only place where they carry it and that was Barnes & Noble (July5th) and the exact same thing happened to me. They still had last month issue.  I went up to Customer Service and I asked when they were expecting it. The guy there told me that it was still early in the month and it should be expected by Friday or next Monday. I was pretty bummed out.

I think someone on here mentioned that subscribers get the books before the stores do so I wouldn't expect the stores to get them at least until the end of this week.  I don't know for sure but on facebook, Nate and Jeremy said that they shipped the subscriptions out I believe last Thursday.  That means they've only been in the mail for two days because the mail didn't run Monday.  With luck, the subscribers will get it in the mail on Tuesday.  The staff mail these out themselves and from what I read, it took them like 9 or 10 hours!!

It has been mentioned before that there was a death in the family which set production on this issue back.  Hopefully everyone can sympathize and understand this and be patient just a little while longer.   It's getting out there rest assured.  Just give the stores a call before heading out.

Sometimes they do that with Fango and Rue Morgue as well.  I just take all three mags and put them side by side on the front shelf.
